To empower individuals and organizations within Guilford County to create a more just and equitable community through meaningful volunteerism.

“Together We Thrive: Empowering Our Community Through Volunteerism.”

  • Celebrates the strength and resilience of the community when united in service.
Target Audience

Residents of Guilford County, with a particular focus on mobilizing underrepresented groups and those new to volunteering.

Partnerships

Guilford County has a diverse network of nonprofits, churches, schools, businesses, and government agencies.

Timeframe

This campaign will take place throughout the 2025 year, beginning on January 1st.

Objectives
  • Connect: Foster meaningful connections between individuals and organizations seeking to volunteer and those in need.
  • Empower: Equip volunteers with the skills and resources to make a lasting impact.
  • Transform: Create a more just and equitable community through collective action.
Goals
  • Volunteer Recruitment: Recruit 1,000 new volunteers.
  • School Partnerships: Adopt 100 schools, providing comprehensive support for students and staff.
  • Mentorship Programs: (January is National Mentoring Month) Engage 100 new mentors, focusing on underserved populations and funneling them to existing mentoring programs.
Outcomes
  • Increased Volunteerism:

A significant increase in volunteer participation, especially among underrepresented groups.

Improved relationships between individuals, organizations,

and the community.
